DISNEYLAND, PARTIES AND RECKLESSNESS

I just have a few minutes to summarize what's been going on this week and what happened last weekend.

First of all, I need to congratulate Olivier and the guys from AA for having thrown such an amazing party last Saturday. It's maybe the best soirée I've seen in Paris so far and the most fun I've had besides the exit of the Gareth Pugh's party with those spectacular New Yorkers. I hope the Third Edition (at my place this Saturday) of the Temple Parties, the way I'm going to call the soirées thrown by the American Apparel at Rue du Temple from now on, will be at least half as good at the last one.

It was not that Polka Dot Party, but I'm sure that wouldn't have been as good as ours was...

Apart from that, we host Cedric a nice guy coming from Ypres, Belgium, we went to Regine's to see an surprising-londonish-psychedelic show that blew my mind, we saw Cassius live, and we had so much fun Sunday night hanging out to a place I had once been to which name I can't recall.

Bref, I got home at 7 in the morning, I took an hour of sleep, and I woke up to go to Disneyland Parcs with my dear Philippe, who treated me as a birthday gift. We had an amazing time, we got into the spinning Nemo ride, the Tower of Terror, the Space Mountain, the Aerosmith rollercoaster, we rode the Fantasyland thingy, we ate M&M's we took pictures and I bought a keychain!

Soooo, once again I can report good times from my stay in Paris. The sun is shining today, I'll go to work in a few minutes and I'll do something tonight...

One last thing, my unconditional and beloved friend Edu is visiting me this weekend!
Paris, watch out.

I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK AS LONG AS IT'S ABOUT ME

Say my name, and his in the same breath, I
Dare you to say they taste the same,
Let the leaves fall off in the summer
And let December glow feel flames

Brace myself and let go,
Start it over again in Mexico
These friends, they don't love you
They just love the hotel suites, now

I don't care what you think
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness
In misery

Oh, take a chance, let your body get a tolerance,
I'm not a chance, but a heat wave in your pants
Pull a breath like another cigarette,
Palms up, I'm trading 'em

I'm the oracle in my chest,
Let the guitar scream like a fascist,
Sweat it out, shut your mouth,
Free love on the streets, but
In the alley and I ain't that cheap, now

I don't care what you think,
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness
In misery

I don't care what you think,
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness
In misery

SOME QUESTIONS

Why laughing is funnier when you can't laugh, eating tastes better when eating what you're shouldn't and fucking feels the best when you're not supposed to do it?

AIRPORTS, BEERS, CAMPAIGNS, AND EDITORIALS

I'm back and I mean 'back' in the widest and most extensive sense of the word. Back to Paris, after a having been 4 days in Spain shooting a campaing for a shoes firm, back to school, back to work, back to fashion, to the spotlight, to acting, back to fun.

I left Saturday evening and as soon as I got there everything went smoothly and troublefree. Susana, one of the photographers, Carol, editor of the hype magazine Overground, hilarious J, a few other friends of them and me, hit the street as I came from the airport. Beer, rock bars and chat chat chat make an awesome night and a not-that-good awakening.

Styling and wardrobe review Sunday afternoon. Some rest at the hotel and I'm ready for Monday Morning.

Hervas&Archer was the fabulous couple in charge of the shooting and the set for the whole campaign. Marcelo from Chanel italian pointer make-up artist who had work for Versace, Stella MCcartney or D&G, and Minerva Portillo, a fierce model and one of the most international tops from Spain (Fornarina, Cacharel, Levis, Lancome, Vogue, L'Officiel, Elle...) completed the team.

The photo session was shot Monday and Tuesday and so was an outstanding editorial that will impress everyone.

I got to Paris yesterday around midnight and I'm now, more than ever, willing to focus on the few things I need to do in here and ready to enjoy whatever it comes.

Good times for sure.

A WEEK HAS PASSED BY...

In the meantime, my crew, counting this weekend with 3 new visitors, and I, have been taken pictures for a fashion brand from Los Angeles, have attended Manish Arora's Spectacular Fashion show at Bouglione Cirque D'Hiver, various soirées, namely Paule Ka with Les Putes à Fringe, MAC, Chez Moune, Metal Magazine and Club Sandwich @ Maxim's with Jeremy Scott, Kris Van Assche or Liya Kebede, among others.

While managing to combine classes, work and nightlife I've found an apartment!.
I'm now settled in with my dearest Pau at classy 16ème, right by Arc du Triomphe.

Opening party coming soon, stay tuned.

HELLO AMERICAN!

By the way! I've been hired by American Apparel to work at it's most central shop in Paris at Le Marais.

"American Apparel is perhaps the only major company in the world to offer affordable, sweatshop-free clothing. It pays workers in 13 countries worldwide an average of $12 an hour and offers affordable health insurance to all employees and their families. American Apparel has also been making headway on the sustainability front, cutting energy use in its factories, recycling fabric scraps and pledging to up its organic cotton usage from 20 to 80 percent in the next few years".

From Wednesday, October 1st, you will be able to find me at the 41st Rue du Temple store.
Come shop!
